Do not memorise the order. Pin it to the window.

The more often you repeat a procedure, the more reliably something falls out of it. Written in a document, it costs a window switch; held in your head, it survives until the phone rings. Turn a note into a checklist and items can be ticked off one at a time, right beside the window you are working in.

Tick them off one line at a time

Switch a note to checklist mode and each line becomes an item. Ticking items keeps the remaining count visible, and finished items can be hidden.

Reuse the same procedure

Duplicate a note and the items come with it. For anything repeated — month-end, delivery, QA — build it once and copy it.

It outlives the window

Close the working window and the checklist stays. Open the window again and it re-attaches, showing exactly where you stopped.

Common combinations

Hide finished itemsShow only what is left and the list stays short.
With remindersPut a time on the note for items that have a deadline.
FavouritesPin the checklists you use often to the top of the manager window.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on items?

No. If a list grows, make the note bigger or reduce its text size to fit it on screen.

Can I switch back to a plain note?

Yes. Toggling checklist mode converts between lines and items.
